The Larkspur Lasers Swim School offers the opportunity for swim instruction for young swimmers (ages 4 to 8) who are comfortable with the water but not quite ready to independently swim a full length of the pool.  Swim school sessions will be supervised by the swim team’s coaching staff and team volunteers on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings (with the exception of July 4) from 9 to 9:45 AM.  Swimmers enrolled in the swim school must be comfortable with the water, including fully immersing underwater, using a kickboard, and floating with assistance.  Swimmers who become capable of swimming 25 meters independently in the swim school may be eligible to join the swim team for a pro-rated amount, subject to space availability and the approval of the coaching staff.  Enrollment in the swim school is capped at 10 swimmers.
